I’d say that on the list of things that would make Justin’s day (week, month, year), this would have to be right there at the very top. Justin Martin is on the cover of the December 2010 issue of DJ Mag, with a big fat interview inside. Being featured like this in such a prominent magazine is a huge honor, and he doesn’t take it lightly. It’s a spot everyone wants, but one he’s gotten through a lot of hard work. He’s probably the nicest person on earth, always approachable and always humble. So with a big smile, we’d like to say CONGRATULATIONS JUSTIN!!! We’re proud of you!
To make this an even bigger occasion for us, this issue ranked Catz ‘N Dogz - Escape From Zoo #5 in the DJ Mag “The Best Albums of 2010″. At this point of reading, we’re doing our best not to jump out of our seats, but it actually really does get better. Flipping the page, we see our 5 Years Of Dirtybird album is ranked #3 in DJ Mag’s “The Best Compilations of 2010″! Needless to say, we are happy (ecstatic) and glad to have the friendships and family we do here at dirtybird, as well as all the fans who come to all our parties, see our artists when they’re on the road, and continue to support our music.
Thanks to DJ Mag and all of our fans for giving us a huge boost as we approach our 6th Anniversary. 2010 will be a year to remember.
